System Enhancement

Med USA is pleased to announce the upcoming upgrade of our computer hardware to the latest in IBM I Series technology. The new equipment will provide 3-5 times more processing power and will also more than double the memory and disk capacity of the existing hardware.

The migration to the new I Series platform is scheduled to begin Saturday, January 9, beginning at 9pm. Access to the Med USA system will not be available beginning at 9pm on Saturday. The migration is scheduled to be completed by Sunday morning at 8am.

Med USA’s upgrade to the latest in IBM I Series technology represents a commitment of over $115,000 in hardware and technology and will help ensure ample resources to the success of Med USA and our clients. During the migration we have also contracted with an IBM system engineer to be onsite to help ensure as minimal disruption to our clients as possible.
