Dear Client,

Med USA is always cognizant of the role privacy and security of information plays in our lives on a daily basis. Whether it be access to your own personal banking information or accessing patient information within your office, we are all continually reminded of the importance of data security and integrity.

Med USA is continually monitoring privacy and security issues in the market place as well as the potential impact it may have on our business. In our efforts to stay current with privacy and security recommendations, Med USA will begin implementing password modifications designed to increase the strength of existing password policies.

If you connect to the Med USA software (MedPrime), these password modifications will only affect you when your current password expires.

When your current password expires, the new password requirements will be:

  • At least six (6) positions
  • At least one (1) numeric field
  • No repeating fields e.g. 11 or AA
  • Change every ninety (90) days

If your new password does not conform to the new requirements the software will alert you and will not allow you to continue sign-on.

These new password policies will go into effect December 15th. When your password expires after this date you will be required to adhere to these new password policies.
