Avenues Women's Center has been providing Obstetrics and Gynecology services to Salt Lake County for over 25 years. With seven providers averaging over 2,000 encounters each month, Avenues Women's Center is among the leading and most respected OB/GYN providers in Utah.

Challenge

In 1988 Avenues Women's Center decided that it was time to move from a paper based practice management system to a computer based model. There were many obstacles adopting and implementing new technology, the cost, training, and not to mention selecting the best company and software.

Solution

Med USA was a new software company on the cutting edge of technology. Offering a practice management system along with the necessary affiliations to obtain the latest hardware, Avenues Women's Center signed on to be one of Med USA's first on-line software clients.

Results

With a 20-year relationship Avenues Women's Center and Med USA have endured the many ups, downs, and regulation changes within the industry. Requests for the software to adapt to their specific needs have always been meet while continuously keeping with the industry changes and regulations.

When Avenues Women's Center had an unexpected loss of a billing employee, Med USA took over the A/R collection services until a replacement was found.
